About Us

My name is Alice Bontrager and live in Shipshewana Indiana. I am a member of the Amish community and faith. I have been making baked goods from family recipes for over twenty years. Family Farms Co-op pick up feed supplies from our neighbors and I asked if they would be interested in delivering some fresh baked goods to their customers. I will offer seasonal fruit pies that are all handmade. They will consist of fresh local products and made in my home based kitchen.

Ingredients We Use

The pies and oatmeal will be made from locally grown produce and grains. Some ingredients will be grown by my family (fruit, eggs, milk, ect.), some by neighbors ( flour, oats, fruit ) and some purchased ( salt, sugar, nuts, baking items )

Our Practices

The baked goods will be handmade by myself. I will use my families recipes and would be open to good suggestion from customers.

Highlights

Since being Amish will limit my access to the Co-op, I hope this joint venture with Chris and Michelle Hebron (Family Farms Cooperative) will allow me to get my products to you.
