Kreg Arnold began his roasting hobby as a passion for the best coffee. Through a local establishment in LaPorte, IN, Kreg and his wife Del met Bill Yoder who also developed a interest in home roasting. Soon so many of their friends were waiting to get some of the fresh roasted beans of the week. Bill suggested we share this passion with local markets to experience the freshness of our beans. And Maple City Roasters, LLC was born. Now into our third year of business we have expanded from Farmer’s Markets, to individual internet sales, to providing beans to a successful family owned grocery store chain, a local bakery and much more.

In this short span of business we have upgraded to a commercial roaster allowing us to meet larger volumes as needed or to just keep it small.

Ingredients We Use

By purchasing our green beans from Theta Ridge in South Bend, we have access to many options and choices to provide our buyers with their specific requests. We want to support the local communities that also support us.

We offer a fair trade organic decaf coffee from Peru. This decaf uses only the Swiss water process for decaffeination, which preserves 99.9% of the flavor without using any chemicals.

Our Practices

Our goal is to provide the freshest coffee beans from around the world to your home. We use only Arabica beans, which are grown at higher altitudes to produce the highest quality coffee.

Organic and fair trade beans are included in our offerings. Our highly complimented blends of Organic Morning After and Bonzo Blend have become most popular and in demand. All born dates will be established when the order and delivery are determined making this the freshest roast delivered to you. For PP this becomes a roast within 1 or 2 days of delivery whether you order a volume of 5 plus pounds or a 1.5 oz sample. Now that is fresh!!!
